This instrument features a Sitka Spruce top with East Indian Rosewood back & sides.
It is the first time I’ve tried a relatively modern approach to the top bracing developed
by Australian Luthiers Trevor Gore and Gerard Gilet.
This is a symmetrical bracing system using carbon fiber and has a 25.4″ scale length.
The price on the guitar is $2300.
I usually build guitars in pairs and this one was built at the same time as the Bearclaw
SLG.It is a little “cooler” in tone and noticeably louder.
